CELLARPASSSM Web-Based Winery Reservation System Completes Beta Phase And Will Go Live At Direct-To-Consumer Symposium On January 19, 2010

Winery Representation In Five States Gives Wine Lovers Access To Real-Time Event Reservations In All Of The Top Regions

(Napa, CA, January 14, 2010)— CELLARPASSSM, the web-based reservation management system that connects consumers directly to specific winery events that match their preferences, has successfully completed its beta phase and will launch its live site on January 19 at the Direct-to-Consumer Symposium in Santa Rosa.  The live site will include the winery reservations widget, which enables consumers to see tour and tasting events that are available and book confirmed reservations.  The widget can also be embedded directly onto winery websites.

Coverage of the all of the U.S.’s top wine regions is well along the way, with wineries in five states already contracted to participate in the CellarPass service.

And momentum is building, as CellarPass adds more than a dozen regional and marketing associations (Napa Valley Destination Council, Sonoma County Vintners, Russian River Valley Winegrowers, Paso Robles Wine Alliance, Concierge Alliance of Napa Valley, Rhone Rangers, Wine & Hospitality Network, etc.).

In addition to the reservations widget, CellarPass’ winery clients benefit from the robust customer relationship management tools that the service provides, including a configurable dashboard of reports that helps wineries manage visitor capacity and staffing more effectively.

“The breadth of our coverage across five states indicates we’re well on our way to becoming the leading event reservation system for the U.S. wine industry”said Tim Campbell, CellarPass co-founder and managing director.
