Cindy Cosco is hosting her very first vineyard lunch, along with grape grower, Jennifer Thomson, of Thomson Vineyards, where Cindy sources her Merlot. We only have room for 24 guests, so get your tickets now. You will be nestled in among the vines for an incredible afternoon lunch. The lunch will be prepared by local Chef, David Walker.
David’s 5-course menu will include:
Pairing: 2016 Rose Colored Glassses Tempranillo Rosé, Heringer Estates, Clarksburg
Arugula and Fennel Salad with Prosciutto
tossed in a light Lemon Vinaigrette
Pairing: 2016 Grenache Blanc, Matthes Vineyard, Sonoma
Artisan Cheese Platter
Pairing: 2015 GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre)
Entrée of Chicken Medallions
over a bed of mashed root vegetables topped with mushrooms and a wine reduction
Pairing: 2016 Pinot Noir, Black Knight Vineyard, Sonoma Coast
Pairing: 2016 Thomson Merlot, Napa (barrel sample)
Each course will be carefully paired with one of Passaggio Wines newly released wines. In addition to the five courses, Walker has a surprise or two up his sleeve. Walker has over 30 years experience in the food, beverage and event management industry. He creates a blend of cooking styles, with locally grown and produced ingredients, to create his unique flavors and dishes. You are in for a treat!
