An intimate and informative gathering for the curd nerd and wine enthusiast!
Join us after dinner from 6:00 to 8:00 for an elevated wine and cheese pairing as we explore older vintages of Napa Valley Petite Sirah from the JE Library Collection. We have pulled out 2011, 2012 and 2013 vintages. We may have a vintaged Cabernet Sauvignon on hand as a special offering.
We are collaborating with Mystic Cheese Company to pair our libraried wines with a selection of locally produced artisanal cheeses. We finish the evening in the Barrel Room sampling currently aging Petite Sirah direct from the barrel.
This is a rare opportunity to taste older vintages with our winemaker Jonathan Edwards, as he discusses each vintage, it's growing season and cellaring process. An expert from Mystic Cheese Company will be on hand to walk you through the pairing notes and cheesemaking process.
You will have the ability to purchase the limited libraried wines, not available to the general public that evening, and also be able to purchase futures of the aging wine in barrel. Library wine purchases are first come, first served until we sell out.
