Very well done
Excellent wines & excellent tasting hosted by Mark? (the big burly guys in his 50's). I knew the five star reputation of the wines and have had them in previous vintages, but had never visited the vineyard before. Mark (I think I am getting his name correct, apologies if not) was a very knowledgeable host and made the day very enjoyable. I highly recommend a visit. We left with many cases!
Great discovery of the wines with Erin! Very approachable wines, cab reserve is great.
Must go! Must go!! An exceptionally beautiful and serene property where you take your time to enjoy each wine. While they only make very few selections, they've put all their energy and focus into them that they are too incredible to ignore! Their reds were my favorite and we had to become members. If you love red Cabs you have to go! Their whites are amazing too but the reds are the stars!!!
fabulous wines and people.....
Absolute perfection. Nothing to change. The best service and the best wine on the most beautiful grounds in Napa.
Our tasting at Groth was a great experience and our host did an excellent job of accommodating our unique tastes; my wife only drinks reds and I only drink whites. This was our second visit to Groth and it was every bit as "special" as the first time.
The host was exceptional, welcoming & knowledgable. The ambiance was very nice and provided a great experience. The bottle of wine purchased was the most expensive on my 4 day trip which is a reflection of the service we received.
We truly enjoyed our experience. The wines were wonderful and our host was funny and accommodating.
Everything was spectacular!! Felt like I was visiting family!! Proud to serve this at our family restaurant!!
Upon entry to the vineyard and main building we were treated with a warmth that would be bestowed to a long lost relative. The tasting and tour was informative, full of energy and a bit different from each tasting tour we have been on.
The people were so kind knowledgeable and very helpful
Our visit with Groth was in the top 3 of all the vineyards we visited. The entire experience was first class and the wines were all fantastic. I heartily recommend Groth be on your list of places to visit. You won';t be disappointed.
Excellent wines, great host who was very knowledgeable, and also had a great conversation with the Groth CFO while there.
We love Groth wine and their winery/tasting room is beautiful. We always have a great time there.
Alexander met us (myself and two friends) as arranged. The first part of the Tour included brief explanations of Groth's philosophy of winemaking, followed by an outside tour of a garden adjacent to the winery with plantings of flora near and around the vines designed to attract beneficial insects. This was followed by a knowledgeable tour and presentation of the winemaking processs and tasting.
Great experience from beginning to end. Thanks!
Very nice wines, cellar beautiful. Great visit
Always a pleasant experience! Such a beautiful place. Love the personal artwork as a special touch. Thanks for the free posters!!!
Very nice facility, tour and guide were average, at best, especially compared to other tours in the valley.
It was a fantastic experience with Joann taking us through the property and having a great wine tasting with our friends. Thanks very much taking the time out to provide a great 2 hour hosting.
Wonderful wines, great experience!
Love being a member of the Groth family.
Always nice to visit Groth. Not crowded on weekdays. Family oriented. The staff are like family.
Fantastic host in Joanna. Great knowledge of the winery, history and a great storyteller,
Beautiful location, awesome wine. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Tour was terrific and impeccably clean. Took our son who had never been to wine country. It was an amazing experience for him and we enjoyed it too!
We received a call from your staff about the pipe breaking and were rerouted to Frog's Leap. Thank you for making the arrangements. The folks at Frog's Leap took good care of us. We were disappointed that we were able to visit and we were looking forward to the reserve tasting but we understand that things happen. We will try again next time we visit Napa.
Overall a great experience
Great wine and personable people
Our private tasting could not have been better! We first visited Groth in the early 90s and fell in love. Each time we've visited since then has been better and better, but this visit ---------OH MY - by far the best. Love your the wines, the location and your employees - the Wine Educators are FABULOUS!!! Also enjoyed meeting the Controller which is way cool as I'm an accountant myself.
Was a great fact finding experience about the Artisan workmanship that goes into Groth Wines .
I was extremely impressed with the Knowledge of our tour guide, and the great information he shared with me and the total experience at Groth
Very accommodating and friendly, knowledgable staff!
It is ALWAYS a pleasure to visit Groth Winery. We always learn more about wine every time we visit
Thanks for sharing your wine with the eight girls aged 22-76. We all loved it
We love, love Groth wines! They are always consistent and they have that "Napa" flavor we both love. Our host was tremendous! She was very knowledgable and easy to talk with. She also loves Groth and their wines and it was clear throughout the tour. Her presentation was natural and without any hype or airs which sometimes is the case at other wineries.
It is a wonderful, family owned winery with the best wines in Napa!!
The staff & owners are friendly, and knowledgeable about wines.
I like the winery & wines so much, that I am a member of their wine club
Beautiful property and the wines are spectacular! The 2015 Groth Reserve definitely impresses! Alexander was gracious and very knowledgeable. Visiting Groth was a wonderful experience!
Joanne was a wonderful host and everyone in the winery was wonderfully friendly. It is very quiet and tranquil at GROTH, but the Pugs run around like they own the place...oh, they DO! Any winery that has pugs running around is a favorite of mine!! I cannot wait to receive the poster that the winery sent to me of some original works of the the Groth owner! All in all it was a delightful experience
Excellent setting especially on a nice day where we wandered around outside after a few tastings. We enjoyed learning about the art and had an interesting and informative host, Alexander.
The experience at Groth was very pleasant. The gentleman that ran our tasting was knowledgeable and friendly (I wish I could recall his name). He allowed us to come earlier than our appointment which was helpful. The wines were fabulous!
