Very acccomdating- great experience. Everyone was great - Randall was excellent !
Very knowledgeable tour and tasting, highly recommend it!
We love Groth, and became members the first time we went! We brought friends visiting - and they loved the experience and wine! Erin, Robert, and Mark are wonderful. You feel like you're in someone's home, and the cab cannot be beat!
This is one of our favorite wines. We save Groth for special occasions they never disappoint us.
We were greeted warmly and provided with a wonderful tasting and information regarding the winery and details about Napa Valley.
We had an amazing afternoon at Groth! Great wine and beautiful estate!
Easy to find, beautiful setting inside and out, gracious people, a well organized work place, and, wonderful wine (joined the club. We'll be back.
Staff was very knowledgeable and hospitable. We had a great tour.
We had a private tasting hosted and presented by Alexander. He was very knowledgeable and generous with his time , answering unending questions. The wine was outstanding and we all gained a new appreciation of this fine winery. We look forward to sampling yet more vintages as members of their wine club.
We had a wonderful tour & tasting with Robert. The architecture of the building is stunning, and Robert took us around the grounds while talking about the history of the winery and their winemaking philosophy. We were able to see the fermentation tanks, the barrel room, and even the bottling & labeling machines! A true insider's tour! The wine were delicious and reasonably priced for Napa.
We really enjoyed our visit! Robert Delaney gave our tour and tasting. He was very knowledgeable.
From start to finish it was a fantastic tasting! Robert was terrific, gave great info about wine and the winery. We enjoyed our time at Groth! Highly recommend!!
Amazing service, unpretentious, gorgeous grounds and excellent wine - what more could you want? Mark served our tasting and he is hands-down one of the coolest guys in the Valley. Very knowledgeable, down-to-earth and friendly. He made my wife and I feel comfortable in getting to know and understand the wines and the story of Groth. Definitely our favorite winery! Team Red Stripe!
I was a great experience for myself and my mom. Our guide was great and the tour and tasting was great. We felt very comfortable and not rushed. It was the best time we had in the Valley.
My wife and I visited Groth just for the mere fact that their wine is Great. We were treated well and with professionalism.
The wine is very good and beautiful tasting room. It was a nice tasting, but maybe a little more formal than some of the others that were more fun.
The hospitality shown me and my guests was amazing and of course the wines were impressive.
From the minute we walked in to the point at which we bade farewell, the experience was, as they say in Paris, "comme le Paradis"! Alexander was an awesome host. He educated us and provided us with an excellent overview of the Groth Vineyards story. Our tasting experience was also "to die for". Watching the bottling of the latest Sauvignon Blanc vintage was a special treat. Two thumbs up!
It was beautiful and the staff was so incredibly friendly. We felt very welcome.
Suzanne, Allyson and team are always so incredibly accommodating! And so nice too!!
The ambiance is a little chilly, feels more like a library or museum or like it was built for something other than tasting.
We visited 5 wineries and Groth was my favorite! The tour was great and the wine was delicious. Alexander was a great guide.
The entire experience was excellent. I believe that Groth is a fine example of how to handle wine making prosperity.
* educate folks about the winery and wines
* keep you wines reasonably priced
* be friendly and hospitable - not haughty
This family ran winery is an example of the way most wineries should operate !
It always feels like family coming here. You’re welcome and the setting is very intimate. Weekdays are wonderful and not a lot of people around. I always enjoy coming to Groth.
Winery itself is stunning. Joanne was knowledgeable, welcoming and gave us just the right mix of attention and alone sipping time.
Groth is Fabulous! From the people to the wine! Allyson is always there with what I call “Aloha”! I always plan on coming by when I’m visiting Napa. Mahalo to the Groth Family!
Everything was set up and ready for us and they knew who we were when we arrived. Excellent tasting and good discussion - generous with a reserve tasting as well.
We had a very nice time at Groth. Our host was excellent and the view of the barrel room was cool to see!
Lovely grounds and tasting room. We loved being able to sit, relax and not feel rushed. Everyone was very friendly and warm. Don't miss the Insect Garden...
Friendly staff and, of course, fantastic wines!
great time, fantastic, dennis groth was special,
Formal setting. Staff was casual and relaxed. A good blend of serious
and knowledgeable wine tasting with a welcoming and laid-back vibe.
Not noisy like the common bar experience so many tasting rooms seem to reflect.
Great staff, beautiful surroundings, superb drinkable wines for any occasion, business or family
Very pleasant and casual no crowd type experience. Staff was very nice and informative and helpful in describing the family history, types of wines, operations, etc. Wines were very nice to taste. Staff Randall and Joanne were very pleasant.
The Spanish-style estate is beautiful and unexpected. It was very relaxed and quiet and the wines were very good. Our host was extremely friendly and informative. I would recommend this tasting to everyone.
Great wine tasting and informative presentation, but very little to see on the property.
Excellent hospitality and knowledgeable tour. The employees at Groth really took pride in their winery and were passionate about the company.
Our 1st visit to Groth for our party of 6. Lovely facility, gracious host. Seated tasting and then a brief tour of their cellar. Really enjoyed their whites, but everything we tasted had characteristics that we found appealing. We would go back again!
