My husband and I live in Lake County and feel Pope Valley has great wines at affordable prices and the friendliness and hospitality are superb. Pope Valley Vineyards is actually in Napa County but we count them as one of our own. Their wines are superb and the staff are warm and inviting. On your visit, be sure to hear the Winery's history and tour the old blacksmith shop--circa 1880's.

Some might feel it’s a bit of a drive, but once there you’ll be glad you made the trek. Very hospitable staff, beautiful outdoor space to relax and enjoy your tasting. Enjoyed learning about the history of the property.

They made us feel very welcome and congratulated us on our anniversary which we noted in our reservation. Unfortunately we were not able to picnic as we hoped when clouds and rain came in quickly. We loved the visit to the cave and meeting "mama" the winery cat. Hopefully we can visit again sometime in the sunshine.
