Beautiful winery. Very friendly staff. Jerry, who guided thru the wine tasting and barrel room was knowledgeable. Oh yeah, fantastic wine. Highly recommend the reserve Cabernet.
A beautiful setting, a gracious and knowledgeable host, great wine... We had a great time and look forward to going back. Wow.
Very warm and welcoming experience. Gave us an incredible tasting line up and let us explore the property.
It was amazing. We were greeted immediately by Jacqueline and though we arrived early, Groth was very accommodating. Mark was our host and he was fantastic. We did the Terrace Tasting which included a tour of the facility. Couldn't recommend this place more.
Very welcoming and great learning experience for my daughter who’s learning about wine.
We booked a terrace tasting but it was raining. Testing was inside but we had a really good time there. We wanted to taste Private Reserve 2016 since it is ranked #4 in the world by WS but it was not in the tasting list. But they poured some for us to taste it. It was a wonderful wine and we loved it! The hospitality and their wines are superb! We ended up with becoming a member there!
My wife and I have been members for years at Groth Vineyards. We are always treated like old friends with warmth and care. We are never rushed and the attentive host makes sure we are happy and satisfied .
Erin did a great job with us explaining the wine making process and the wines. She also allowed us to listen to the last 2 minutes of the 49ers - New Orleans game. The game was great, the wine was better.
Randall is amazing, made us feel at home.
Nice facility and our host did a good job, however, I was disappointed with the wines offered to taste having expected the 16 vintage, the most recent release. Also, the tasting fee for the terrace experience is not waived even if you buy wine. I will avoid wineries with this policy in the future.
