JOIN MESSINA HOF'S FIRST WINE RELEASE OF THE YEAR!
Kick off Messina Hof’s Wine and Roses Festival Weekend at Spring Release, the first wine release event of the year! Enjoy an evening of wine, Vineyard Cuisine™, Texas art, live music and dancing. Experience exclusive access to newly released varietals and vintages while enjoying 5 expertly paired dishes crafted by our Chefs, Chris Shepley and Glenn Huggins. Unique from our other wine release dinners, guests will have the opportunity to taste at their own pace by visiting stations located throughout the event. After dinner, dance the night away with live music from The Brookwoods, view artwork from Messina Hof’s 2019 Texas Wine Label Competition and bid in a silent auction benefiting the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley. Spring Release will take place outdoors next to the scenic views of Messina Hof’s rose garden. Garden party attire is recommended.

Blue Crab and Corn Fritter
Texas Blue crab blended with charred corn, red bell pepper, and sliced scallions, deep fried and presented with a lemon avocado puree, pickled red onion, and arugula tossed in a Pinot Grigio vinaigrette.
Champagne poached lobster tail simmered with estate herbs, arborio rice, seafood stock and parmesan cheese. Topped with fresh sorrel and shaved parmesan cheese.
Heirloom Tomato Salad
Peppered local heirloom tomato paired with cucumber marinated in Lepard Chenin Blanc, chargrilled estate spring onions and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and dusted with smoked sea salt.
Roasted Halibut served with a shredded carrot and water crest salad and topped with a Merlot and red bell pepper coulis and estate brussels sprout puree.
Sparkling Almond Sabayon
Frozen Sparkling Almond sabayon served with a chocolate crème anglaise, fresh strawberries and estate mint.
