Testarossa Winery is located in the historic Novitiate in downtown Los Gatos and is one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in California. Rob and Diana Jensen started Testarossa in their garage in 1993 with just twenty-five cases of wine. Today, the winery works closely with top winegrowers in the Santa Lucia Highlands, Santa Rita Hills, Arroyo Grande Valley, Santa Maria Valley, Russian River Valley, Chalone and Santa Cruz Mountains appellations.

Testarossa offers multiple wine experiences in this beautiful historic setting from a tour and tasting for beginners to Testarossa University for those eager to increase their wine knowledge. Our Los Gatos location also offers specialty tastings including the Wine & Cheese Experience and Salon Tastings hosted by a Testarossa Wine Educator.

There are several ways to enjoy this exquisite property, including the popular Wine Bar 107, the Club Members Lounge, and the exclusive JRS Terrace for Platinum and Jensen Reserve Society members only. Reservations are no longer available. Please check in at the Welcome Centers on weekends.

Testarossa Winery has been consistently voted Best Local Winery by the San Jose Mercury News since 2011.

We are only closed three days a year: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. Tasting rooms in Los Gatos are open daily from 11am to 5pm; and in Carmel Valley from 12pm - 5pm on Sunday - Thursday and 11am - 6pm Friday and Saturday.

What a beautiful place to enjoy delicious wine and spend time with friends! We were in a small group of 4 people for the "Wine and Cheese Experience." The wines and cheeses were paired perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of our host, Ms. Ryan. After the "experience" we sat on the patio and enjoyed a glass of wine with our friends.

The class was like many others that I have attended. The food and wine that was served before class was excellent and it gave the students some time to get to know each other. The instructor, Bob Zamora, was well informed and gave an excellent review and update of the subject matter. The information was detailed without being laborious and prompted questions and discussion among the attendees.

Really beautiful place. Could not believe it was where it was. I would never have known it was up in the hills. BAD traffic getting through Los Altos so give yourself plenty of time to get there. Add on 20 minutes to whatever you expect. Wine was really good and the tour and cheese was fun. Tour guide was great. I would return. I did not realize that it was mostly Pinot Noirs and Chards. Great.

Testarossa is always terrific. They know how to cater to their wine loving clients and customers. CellarPass is a bit clumsy to work with and there are glitches in the software that caused me to have to completely cancel the initial reservation I made for three and rebook a new one for four. I recommend Testarossa find another application to handle their bookings.

Amazing class- great wine, great food, great people in an authentic winery. We were given the chance to speak to the vigneron or person who cultivates the grapes and hear his prospective and then sample several different wines all made from grapes from the same farm- very interesting and educational- a real treat. One of the best wine classes I have attended.

This was an amazing evening. To hear from the grapefield owner and wife was eye opening and informative. Great people. Comparing the wines produced was a true learning experience and a peek into how wine is shaped by the winemaker.

The wine course was amazing. Instructor Bob Zamora has a great delivery style that informs and welcomes class participation. We learned a great deal about the wines and the Appalachian. I have a much better understanding of the reasons that this AVA produces the excellent fruit that for which it is known. The folks in that class are very welcoming and the class interaction was warm and inclusive.

This was the first class we've attended at Testarossa and it exceeded my expectations! The knowledge of the teachers is what impressed me most. The pairings were also fabulous! I heard from someone I met there that the classes don't usually do pairings. I would highly encourage more of this. When we first arrived, the room was incredibly cold, which impacted our enjoyment

I really enjoyed the basic wine session. The reception in the beginning was a nice touch and the session itself was really educational. I certainly learned quite a bit for being a beginner and wanting to get into the wine business. Loved that all questions were answered and none were considered “silly” questions :) I would definitely recommend this class to friends and family.

We came with on a double with our friends to experience the wine wine and cheese pairing. We've only recently started looking into local wineries, as we typically travel to Napa instead, but were pleasantly surprised with our visit. The wine was good, the service excellent, and the grounds quite picturesque and filled with Los Gatos history. Recommended.

Loved the whole experience...welcoming, knowledgeable staff, great ambiance, PET FRIENDLY. Advise doing the tour and wine and cheese pairing. Only caution is there are stairs, probably 15-20 steps, so be ready for it. Did not see evidence of an elevator.

We were welcomed by Mickael with a glass and a historic view on the area. Since we moved a year ago we spend quite some time talking about the local background. Also the production line and barrel room was entertaining! Once we got to the wine and cheese we became good friends and the tasting was super!
