Choosing your participation level...

General Admission

Taste some of California’s finest wines surrounded by the beauty of the iconic Sierra Foothills! With your 1, 2, or 3 Day Passport to the Great Out There ticket, you’ll be able to enjoy exclusive access to limited bottlings, reserve wines, creative food pairings, along with the fun and unique character of over 20 participating wineries.

Along with all the benefits of General Admission, your VIP Passport to the Great Out There also gives you:
  • An early start – your exclusive VIP experience will begin at 10 am – a full hour ahead of general admission ticket holders!

  • An intimate, unique experience not available to general public. Review the descriptions and decide which one appeals to you – but they will all involve special wines, carefully curated food pairings and most likely time with the winemaker to chat and share stories!

Designated Driver

If you don’t plan on wine tasting during the weekend, but you’d still like to join your friends purchase the Designated Driver Passport to the Great Out There for access to all of the tasty bites and awesome sites. PLEASE NOTE: Designated Driver tickets must accompany a full priced wine consumption ticket.

Attendee Policy

COVID has given us the opportunity to make some adjustments to our Passport event, and we hope you will find the changes result in a much more enjoyable experience for you!  Of course, our priority is the health and safety of our guests and staff, so all of our wineries will be adhering to strict COVID safety protocols including capacity restrictions to ensure adequate physical distancing.

This means your tasting experiences will REQUIRE RESERVATIONS! The process is fairly streamlined, and you will be able to choose which wineries you want to visit ahead of time, and will even be able to see how long it takes to travel to each destination you choose!

Other important notes:

  • Group size will be limited to 6 (six) people. No exceptions.
  • All tickets for your group must be purchased together in one transaction. For example, if you are a group of four (two couples), you will need to designate one person to purchase the tickets in one transaction; reservations/parties may not be combined either before the event or at winery locations the day of the event.
  • Each winery will have capacity restrictions; therefore, reservations will fill up quickly so you will want to book early.
  • Guests will not be able to book overlapping reservations. Each reservation will be for a 45 minute experience and a 30 minute travel/transition period will exist between all reservations.
  • There will be no day-of ticket sales and advanced ticket sales will end when they are sold out or on April 14th (whichever comes first).
TIP: Review the winery offerings and have a good idea of your first, second and third choices when you start the ticketing process.

NOTE: All attendees must have ticket to attend Passport To the Great Out There. Participants must be 21 or older. Be prepared to show your photo ID at all wineries you visit and please...drink responsibly. Tasting room representatives will not serve wine to anyone who appears intoxicated. We love children (especially babies), but we ask that you please do not bring them to this event. Due to the California Health Code, pets are not allowed. This, of course, does not include guide dogs with their ID. All ticket purchases are final and no refunds will be issued.
