Winter in wine country means rain, and winter rains mean mushroom season! Mycopia, local pioneers in specialty mushroom cultivation, will be hosting an intriguing mushroom seminar at 2pm on Saturday March 10th in our cellar. Learn about foraging, different varieties of fungi, and how mushrooms are helping to protect the water and heal our area following the wine country fires. Canevari’s Italian Delicatessen (local legends since 1929!) will be preparing their delicious creamy mushroom polenta for us to pair with our pinots this weekend, so stop in for a tasting of wine and the most delicious polenta this side of Tuscany, and taste for yourself why mushrooms and pinot are such a classic pairing.
