This vineyard is a hidden gem. You're greeted by amazing views and amazing hospitality. The small food pairing they offered is the BEST I've ever experienced. Each pairing enhanced your experience to a whole different level. Worth it!
From Amanda meeting us with a welcome glass of sparkling to Duff's perfect tasting experience (including THAT VIEW) we had a wonderful day!
Perfect day to sit out on the deck with a fabulous glass of Cast wine!
Duff treated us to a fabulous afternoon! The wine and every aspect was top notch. Wow!!!
Welcoming host and great ambiance. Beautiful facility. 1st Class winery??
It was a wonderful experience, The setting is spectacular and the wines are delicious. I recommend the Progressive Tasting which includes stops at various parts of the winery and it comes with cheese!!
I selected Cast for a tour and tasting using my pick an area on google maps and read the reviews technique. Struck gold! Fabulous setting with several beautiful areas to sit and enjoy the wines. Our host, Duff, was superb. Knowledgeable, relaxed, entertaining but never overbearing. Really enjoyed the wines, especially the reds, and joined their club. We will go back with other friends.
We took the Behind the Scenes tour. Fascinating! Every step of the tour was informational with glass in hand and tastings along the way! We thoroughly enjoyed this touch of the tour. The last stop was a beautiful setting for our final wine tasting paired with some fabulous local meat and cheese snacks. However the final "sales pitch" of the wine club was a total turn off.
Our experience at Cast Wines was beautiful. We did the 'Progressive tasting' and honestly I wasn't completely sure what this entailed before arriving. However, we found out that it was a tasting that moved around to different spots on the property, giving us a number of different views and vantage points. The wine was great, the weather was perfect, and the host friendly and knowledgeable.
The idyllic setting on the patio overlooking the vineyard was a perfect casual introduction for our group of 10. We loved the cellar next and couldn’t recommend the progressive tasting more! Duff was amazing and gave us background but also let us enjoy on our own. A perfect day in Sonoma!
