beautiful setting with great views. the newborn lambs were a real bonus. our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed her company. wine was delicous.
A friendly and personal tasting. Very little wine tasted and only the current release so wines like these that should be aged didn’t show well. At $150 for our party would have been much better just buying a aged bottle at a store
Hanzell offers a breathtaking view of the valley and is a beautiful winery. The wine is good but the tasting fee was a bit steep for what you get. The tour was great as was our guide.
Just overall a great experience. Stunning property, amazing wines, and very knowledgeable hosts. Would highly recommend!
Hanzell was my favorite winery we visited while in the wine country. The property is beautiful & the wine fantastic. Nicole was so fabulous & we'll be back to visit again soon!
I have been a member of their "ambassador" club for about a decade, I think - I am a HUGE fan of not only the wine, but the whole culture of Hanzell Vineyards. Every visit I've made has been exceptional and the location is incomparably beautiful. My guests were just delighted - the views, the wine, our tour with Peter, and the farm cats, Edsel & Pontiac, stole their hearts. Truly magical!
Great property, staff, philosophy and wines.
We learned so much about the vineyard and the winemaking process from Eric. It was a great treat to have a retired winemaker to be our tour guide! Thank you Eric for answering all our questions and taking the time to explaining everything! We are also very glad to learn about the regenerative farming practices at Hanzell. We hope to visit again and see some animals!
This is a charming hillside estate that has preserved much of the native ecosystem, including majestic oaks, while incorporating a traditional method of mking wine. The wine truly reflects the beauty of this land.
Tony did an exceptional job. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the winery, wine, history and valley. I would highly recommend!
