JCB Tasting Salon Yountville, California Reviews
Reviews provided by fellow guests with verified visit
Educator wasn’t very personable. She kept disappearing so we waited a long time between pours. Wouldn’t go back with out of town guests.
It was a great day and experience.
If you want a truly unique experience with awesome wines and first class service - you will enjoy Salon Privé. Pamela was very knowledgeable and was very familiar with the wines. Top notch service and great wines.
It was so loud and overpowering with decor. Service while slow our attendant was very nice. The flights do not come with any nibbles and you certainly will want some.
It was a wonderful surprise. My friend and I sure enjoyed enjoyed the time we spent at JCB Salone Prive. We had a gracious hostess, she was very knowledgeable about the history and wines of JCB. I would recommend this experience to anyone that wants something to do out of the ordinary.
Loved the whole atmosphère. The merchandising of all the beautiful French luxury products. I could of stayed there for hours. Would love to work there!
We arrived promptly at 12:55pm for our 1:00pm appointment. Nothing was set-up for us and the staff did not know what we were there to taste. We were seated and we had to stop the person who seated us to discuss our tasting path. She had someone else give us sparkling and then we begged for a taste of red. Manager would not make eye contact with us the entire visit. Disappointed.
Wines were excellent! Really enjoyed, and bought both the Passion and Leopard blends. Staff was highly knowledgeable and very friendly. Loved the charcuterie plate from Atelier next door. Will definitely be back.
We enjoyed our tasting. The host provided excellent service. She was a bit busy at times to explain the wines in detail, however we had a picky person in our group. She went above and beyond to assist this person, so 5 stars for that.
Other than saying, “number 3” and pouting it into the glass, there was no information or explanation shared. A lackluster experience with no ambiance or sharing of the wine’s origin or history. It was a pop-up “fast food” wine kiosk.
