We cordially invite you to join us for our
Annual Grape Stomp Competition
to celebrate the
September 21st, 2019
Location: 1010 Big Tree Road, St. Helena, California
Cost: $125 per person
This is your chance to experience the age old ritual of stomping grapes for winemaking. Lucille Ball immortalized it in that famous scene on “I Love Lucy”, but it is your turn now to get in that barrel and squeeze as much juice out of the grapes as possible. Show us your best competitive Grape Stomping skills or just come to watch the show!
How it works:
We will assemble four teams of 15 for a fast paced competition. Each team will start with the same amount of grapes and after the 5th and 10th persons in the barrel, each barrel will be equally refilled. Once all 15 members of the team have had 30 action filled seconds in the barrel, we will measure how much juice was produced. The team that produces the most juice WINS! Each member of the winning team will get BRAGGING RIGHTS and a PRIZE!
Channel your inner “Lucy” and join us for an afternoon of music, lunch and GRAPE STOMPING!
The afternoon will also include
Live Music with Justin Diaz
BBQ lunch prepared by Marks the Spot
You will also enjoy tasting selections of Benessere Vineyard wines. Winemaker Matt Reid will also be on hand to lead guests on a tour of the vineyard.
